Lozada PFC has a large court with synthetic polymer, a large fitness area and a community sauna. In addition, Lozada has a weight room and a Spin bike/Well Beats room.
Lozada has several rooms with Bosu balls, kettlebells, rowing machines, yoga mats, plyometric boxes and stability equipment.
Estep Physical Fitness Center is the latest addition to Forts Physical Fitness Centers. As a health care center in the past, Estep still has many of the equipment it did in the past, but with the added benefit of being used on a free basis. Estep will continue to help you improve your health and wellness by offering guided classes and personal training, both at a nominal fee. Estep PFC will also be home to the Alpha Warrior Battle Rig, a motorized workhorse designed to enhance the military's combat capabilities. This fitness center also has a spa area that includes a sauna, steam room, and changing room.
The cardio room has ellipticals, treadmills, recumbent bikes, resistance trainers, overhead trainers, Jacob's ladders and stair climbers to encourage you to reach a healthy heart rate! A unique program developed at Estep is Boot Camp Xtreme (BCX). This five-to-eight-week program consists of three main components of fitness: cardio, strength and flexibility - and is as much physical as mental. BCX is held twice a year in spring and fall, limited to 20-30 participants. BCX is not within the walls of Estep, but outside of the main and at various MWR sites.
Estep has a team of dedicated employees, most of whom are trained, skilled and/or certified in some form of fitness such as personal or group training / special fitness.
