Ben Domenech Twitter - Meghan McCain's husband, Ben Domenech, criticized Twitter for allowing a tweet to remain open for hours that included an image of a doctor pointing a gun at Meghan McCain as she approached her father's casket. The account was later suspended, Domenech said Friday, but not until after he "removed the burp."
On Thursday, Domenech, a conservative writer and CBS News contributor, shot a photo of a doctor pointing a gun at Meghan McCain approaching her father John McCain's closet. The latter wrote, "America, this is for you," according to the Arizona Republic.

"Hey @jack, this has been up for half a day. It's been reported 100+ times. No response. Tell me why you think this is cool," Domenech wrote in a now-deleted tweet. Domenech later deleted that tweet when the system was suspended "so no one can see it".

On Friday, Domenech pushed Twitter to allow him to stay for hours, writing that it wasn't until "an hour later that he tweeted that he finally got a reaction. He didn't want to raise it, but that's what Twitter explained."
"Twitter suspended this account this morning," Domenech posted on Friday. "No one should raise a fuss or highlight such matters in public for their attention."
Meghan McCain was photographed in action at her father's desk during Wednesday's service. He said at the service in the National Cathedral on Saturday that "the best part of John McCain, the greatest of his titles, and the most important of his paternal duties. John McCain is defined by love."
